Hope for Families

Hope for Families partners with church groups, community groups, schools and social service agencies to provide parent education, family support, and professional counseling. Trusted materials and resources are tailored to meet the growth needs of each unique group and individual.

The desire to nurture connected relationships is at the heart of Hope for Families. We seek to build connections with individuals and families who desire to connect more deeply with one another and with the Lord. Hope for Families provides:

A Caring Team of Professionals

Hope for Families professionals are dedicated to providing compassionate care to children and families in distress. Members of our team have received advanced training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention ^® and Theraplay^® techniques.

Professional Counseling

Licensed counselors are available to work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children. The counseling center is located on Gracewood's main campus in the Memorial area. Counseling is also provided through church partnerships in the Houston area.

Parent Education

Engaging and practical trust-based parent education highlights the need for a delicate balance of structure and nurturing. Principles are presented from a Christian perspective with a focus on real-life application and problem-solving scenarios.

Family Support

Support is available to families that need additional guidance in applying the trust-based parenting principles of connecting, empowering, and correcting in daily life. Our hope for the families we serve is that parents would be gently led by the Lord as they love and care for the children He has entrusted to their care.

All services are provided free of charge, as a gift of grace.
