Principle Job Function: The family counselor will provide individual, family, or group counseling to residents of Gracewood and to community clients referred to us from partner organizations. Some evening hours are expected.

Education and Experience: The family counselor requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling with LCSW-ACP or LPC licensure. Associates will be considered based on experience (75% finished with their hour requirements for full licensure). Experience in areas of individual, group and family counseling. Experience and certification in play therapy and/or theraplay preferred. Familiarity with TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) principles and application preferred.

Principle Function: Under direction of the Director of Development at Gracewood, gives leadership and support to a variety of critical development initiatives including the ambassador program, special events, foundation relations, and other projects assigned by the Director of Development. The priority objective of the role is to meet current and future budget and capital needs. The incumbent will be assigned a limited individual portfolio of donors for cultivation and will be involved in communication with many donors in coordinating events and other development interaction.

Required Education, Skills, & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Results focused with a proven track record of reaching goals through managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to completion. Proven success in recruiting and leading volunteers to achieve mission goals. 2-3 years of work experience in non-profit is a plus, but not required. Willing to maintain a flexible work schedule

Principle Function: Under the direction of the Program Director, the Family Life Coordinator (FLC) will manage the cottage household. Additionally, the FLC will develop a mentoring relationship with each client family and role model positive life skills necessary for successful independent living. The FLC will communicate frequently to Program Director the status of each family’s progress in order to develop, review and revise the plan of service for each family.

Requirements and Experience: Valid Texas Driver’s License; Criminal background check and references required; Bachelor’s degree in a human service field is preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required with prior relevant employment.
