Principle Function: The Counselor helps lead the program to foster social, behavioral, personal, and spiritual growth for clients and families through professional counseling and teaching ministries. The Counselor is the lead counselor for family care clients (both current and aftercare), community counselling; responsible for all clinical aspects of the Family Counseling program; provides consultation; and oversees supervision requirements for all therapists and interns. Additionally, the position must understand and support the mission of Gracewood/Children At Heart Ministries, its programs, and core values.

Education and Experience: Must have Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related human services field is required, and must be fully licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Ideally the applicant also have five years of experience in the field and have supervisory experience.

Status: Full-time with benefits. Requires flexible hours due to client needs.

Principle Function: Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Development Associate helps achieve the Key Results of Children At Heart Ministries by giving leadership and support to a variety of critical development initiatives including the ambassador program, special events, foundation relations, community relations, and other projects assigned by the Director of Development. The priority objective of the role is to meet current and future budget and capital needs. The incumbent may be assigned a limited individual portfolio of donors for cultivation and will be involved in communication with many donors in coordinating events and other development interaction. 

Required Education, Skills, & Experience: Bachelor's degree from a credited college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The incumbent must have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a proven track record of reaching goals through managing multiple projects simultaneously with input from multiple sources and the ability to think strategically and creatively. The incumbent must also be a quick learner on database entry. Knowledge and/or experience in Benevon Sustainable Funding a plus.
